Why Everyone Loves the company of Punjabi (s)

Being a Punjabi is a honor it self .Honor of greatness , craziness , Religious , kind hearted and very curious .I being a Punjab is now going to praise myself. We Punjabi(s) are really Crazy and this craziness makes a fun-loving person .The Word 'Punjab' means 'Punj + ab ' Here ' Punj means '5' and 'ab' means river . So Punjab means the Source of 5 rivers  . We are From Punjab so we are Punjabi .Like Gujarati)) from Gujarat , bihari(s) from bihar , Bengali)s) from Bengal , Now its literal meaning now the Actual Meaning of Punjabi .Here it is ..

P  U  N  J  A  B  I

:- PURE

:- Unstoppable

:- Notorious

:- Jolly

:- Arrogant

:- Bold

- Intelligent

These traits together make a Full Punjabi but that all is not enough to make you fall in love with  a Punjabi . Now there is some traits that will surely make u  fall in love with them .

#1 Jappian teh pappian , we have so much love to give !

Expect a bone crushing hug and a peck on a cheek (sometimes ear and hair ) when  we meet a Punjabi . Word of advice  , do not try to escape the loving - death embrace , its not rude , it is considered blasphemy - Ayye ki kita ?

#2  Patiala peg , chikan shikkan teh yo yo Honey Singh  . We Party all night

No matter how small the occasion is , punjabi(s) loves to party , Alcohol flows is galleons . there's food enough to feed a small country and girls get their groves on skimpy dresses. The Phrase ' burn the dance floor' was probably invented in disco of sector 17.

#3 "Saanu ki" "Aviie hi " " Syaapa" the slang words
These are the some slang words you can surwly find in a punjabi dictionary .You are true punjabi when you gossip about someone for long hours and in the end say "Sanu ki " Avvie hi the answer of the every question and "Syappa " is a word for every disaster .

#4 We Love To repeat !

Roti - shoti , Daaru-shaaru , bhutter-shutter , dhol -shol , khaana-shaana , Bhangra-shangra ,  Mitta-shitta . and lots more

#5 we are religious !

whether you are awara , kanjar , khote da puttar , Ullu ka patta . when its a time of going to gurudwara suddenly a true saint comes out from you.

#6 Hit-love

there is affection in every chand and in friendship in every chaped khani aa ? if they throw an abuse your way, you're most likely their favorite person on earth.

#7 We love to dance

Dance is our hobby .we are fond of dancing . we can dance everywhere anytime , even we can dance on the sound a generator !

#8 We are emotional !

when something bad happen to someone even they are choutha-mallah padosi . we read to cry for them and say " Bada changa banda si , dukh hoya sunke:

#9 We are loud !

When we talk, we make sure it's at a decibel higher than normal. Why else would we serenade a girl by calling her our woofer and gladly be her amplifier? Mostly when there is call form outside . All neighbors around come across to know that there is a phone call from Canada .  .

#10 We Love food !

you can run, you can hide but you can't escape this staple at every Punjabi meet and greet. Chances are you're at this gathering only for the awesome food. Take at least three helpings unless you want people to think you're on a diet. Punjabis believe the way to a person's heart is through their stomach. Lassi la oye!

#11 A Punjabi wedding is a festival itself !

Put all the above points together and you have yourself the wedding of a lifetime. All the best food, alcohol, music and relatives converge for at least a seven day long party. And just for the record, no Punjabi wedding is complete without breaking into bhangra and gidda either on the dhol or on the Punjabi wedding anthems Gur Nalon Ishq Mitha and Ishq Tera TadpaveBolo Tara Rara! .

#11 Punjabiyan Di Shaan Wakhri

Say what you want but your Punjabi friends make you laugh the hardest, they know the best dhabbas around town and are always there for you through thick and thin. They're your 2 am friends especially because you're probably out with them in their SUV, listening to songs on a blaring volume, just having fun. You have no care in the world because, you know, point 8. And there's a reason why Punjabis say "saade naal rahoge te, aish karoge". Burraha!
